Blackmon Mooring of Southern California

In 1948, Blackmon Mooring began working as a furniture cleaning business in Fort Worth, Texas. After the Trinity River levee broke in May 1949, Blackmon Mooring was there to help clean up the aftermath of the major flooding. It was our first foray into disaster recovery and would eventually lead to a full line of fire restoration and water restoration services. Out of the restoration process, Blackmon Mooring identified and perfected methods of carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning.

BMS CAT originally opened the Southern California location in Irvine, CA as a regional center in order to better service commercial clients along the West Coast in times of community-wide disasters. On September 1st, 2011, the Southern California regional center opened its doors as a Blackmon Mooring store. Now, in addition to restoring commercial facilities, our Southern California location has expanded our services to assist residential properties on both large and small restoration and construction projects that occur as a result of a fire, flood or storm.
